The trial lesson is an opportunity for student and teacher to meet one another to determine if they are compatible with one another, without any long-term commitment. Parents are welcome to accompany children. If a longer lesson length is desired, that can be arranged after the initial 30-minute session.


Alexis Arthur is a versatile soprano currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at Towson University under the expert guidance of renowned soprano and pedagogue, Natalie Conte. With a diverse background in both classical and musical theater, Alexis has been cast in notable roles such as Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus and Fanny in La Cambiale di Matrimonio. Her talent has been recognized through competition-based scholarships at Towson University, as well as honorable mentions in local competitions. She has had the privilege of participating in enlightening masterclasses with several esteemed artists, including Frederica von Stade and Maestro Michael McCarthy.

Alexis believes in fostering a supportive and individualized learning environment. She encourages students to embrace their unique voice, allowing them to embark on their personal journey to success. By tailoring her instruction to each student’s strengths, interests, and aspirations, she aims to foster confidence and artistic expression. To her, it is essential that students not only develop healthy techniques but also find joy and fulfillment in their musical pursuits. She emphasizes strong technical foundations and a growth mindset, encouraging perseverance and curiosity. Alexis’s ultimate goal is to empower students to navigate their musical paths authentically and passionately.
