Monthly Subscription:

Clients are charged a flat rate every month.

We offer 48 lessons per year.

÷ 12 months = 4 lessons per month.

This number does not change with the calendar.

It only changes when you cancel or add a lesson.

The number of lessons (4) on your monthly bill will always be the same unless you make a change.

Semester Plan:

In exchange for committing to every lesson and paying for the session up front, clients receive a hefty discount.

Lesson Fees

Fees for the Monthly Subscription are as follows:

• 30 minutes: $39 = $156 per month
• 45 minutes: $56 = $224 per month
• 60 minutes: $72 = $288 per month

Sibling or second instrument discounts apply. Discounts may not be combined.

The school reserves the right to change lesson fees. 60 days advance notice will be provided for any rate adjustments.

Fees for the semester plan are as follows:

• 30 minutes: $36 x 19 =  $741 $684, save $57!
• 45 minutes: $52 x 19 =  $1064 $988, save $76!
• 60 minutes: $67 x 19  =  $1368 $1273, save $95!

Payment Deadlines and Billing

Monthly Plan: Payments are due two (2) days prior to the first of each month.

Late Fee: A $15 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the 6th of the month.

Semester Plan: Payment is due in full before the start of the semester.

Semester dates:

• August 25, 2025 – January 25, 2026
• January 27, 2025 – June 15, 2025

Refunds and Withdrawal

Refund Policy

• No refunds are given for missed lessons unless agreed upon in exceptional circumstances
• Discontinuing lessons without 30 days’ written notice to the office may result in forfeiture of remaining lesson fees.
• The school may offer a credit for future lessons in lieu of a refund.

Withdrawal Policy

Monthly Subscription: Written notice for discontinuing the Monthly Subscription plan must be sent to the office a month in advance. There are no refunds for the Monthly Subscription plan, and students are obligated to pay for four lessons from the date when notice is received.

Semester plan: With written notice to the office of a student’s intent to terminate private lessons, pro-rated tuition from the start of the upcoming month will be refunded minus 25% of the original, total tuition. The refund will be based on the date the written notice is received by our office.

Missed Sessions and Make-up Lessons

• 24-hour notice is required for cancellations via email, text, phone to both teacher and office, or Opus1.io client portal.
• Cancellations within 24 hours will not be rescheduled or refunded.
• Late cancellations due to illness will be taken on a case-by-case basis, with documentation.
• Clients are allowed two (2) make-up lessons per month, but not more than four (4) make-up lessons per semester.
• Make-up lessons must be scheduled within 60 days using the Opus1.io portal.

Attendance Expectations

• Regular and punctual attendance is expected for all students.
• Inconsistent attendance may result in the loss of the reserved lesson time slot.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

• Instructor Cancellation: The instructor reserves the right to cancel lessons due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, scheduling conflicts).
• Rescheduling/proration: In case of instructor cancellation, each student will be offered a make-up lesson. If that is not possible within 60 days, the lesson fee will be prorated to the next billing cycle.
• Weather and Unforeseen Closures: The school reserves the right to reschedule or prorate lessons due to severe weather conditions or other unavoidable events.

Absentee Policy

• Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.
• Clients must finalize their lesson schedule at least five (5) days before the first of the month via the Opus1.io portal. Any changes made after the deadline will be treated as paid, rescheduled lessons.
